- A credit card for yourself -- select 'Personal'
- A credit card for your business -- select 'Small Business'
- You must be the owner or principal of the business AND
- You must be able to provide a Tax ID Number (TIN) or Employer ID Number (EIN)
We strongly recommend that you select only 1 of the 3 options. Most credit cards are not good in combining all 3 of these features.
Things I Care About
- Purchase APR / Rate is the Interest Rate that will be charged on purchases made on your credit card.
- Balance Transfer APR / Rate (or 'Transfer APR') is the Interest Rate that will be charged on the balance (if any) that you transfer from another credit card.
- Rewards: If you make a lot of purchases every month you can get significant benefits -- like cash back, hotel points, airline miles, etc.

We recommend that you at least have a VISA or a Master Card in your wallet since they are the most commonly accepted cards.
If you do, then you should keep all 4 checkboxes checked.
Credit Card Networks determine where your credit card is accepted. These days most places accept all 4 of them (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), but there are definitely exceptions.
Click on the 'Advanced Options' filter, if you would like to select specific credit card companies.

Paying an annual fee is not always a bad thing since you might end up paying a higher interest rate or enjoy fewer rewards, as a result of not having an annual fee.
Note: In order to make comparison's easier, when a card has a monthly fee we multiply it by 12 and we show it as an annual fee.

Transfer Fee Details?Transfer Fee is the fee that you will get assessed if you transfer a balance from another credit card.
Examples:
- A Transfer Fee of 3% (max $99) means that your fee will be 3% of the transferred balance, but not above $99.
- A Transfer Fee of 3% means that your fee will be 3%, with NO maximum.
By selecting 'Yes' we will show you the 'Default APR', next to each credit card.
Default APR is the Rate that ALL your rates might switch to if you fail to make on time payments, and/or when you exceed your card's credit limit. Default APRs are usually above 20%!
It is very important that you are aware of the Default APR so that you do not end up losing your Introductory APR or Regular APR.
